In PLTW's Engineering Design and Development (EDD) capstone course, teams were tasked with identifying a problem and design a solution to fix the problem addresed as a engineering in a closed enviroment. My team identified problems with current shopping carts for those who use wheelchairs and tackled the problem to come out with a new solution for those to shop hassle free.
While at STA, I joined the Battle of the Brains team at STA to create an educational exhibit that competes against other teams across the Kansas City metropolitian. We designed and created an exhibit based on light and all about it from the absense of it to how it is recived. Our team was selected as one of the top ten in the high school division.

I planned and built 22 6'x16' floating docks made out of wood and 55 gallon drums. They were completed and installed in the summer of 2019 at Cedars Camps for my Eagle Scout project.Â
While going to Missouri S&T, the things that happen behind the scene should not go unseen. I wrote a paper about the geothermal system that heats and cools campus in somewhat of a student perspective.
The facinations of the infrastructure behind the sence is inticing. Figuring out how it works and making models is a great past time to understand how these workings from the clarifiers of wastewater treatment plants to the chillers keeping buildings cool.
